Shemot Kol Hashedim (“Names of All the Demons”), is the second EP by Israeli Black Metal act Neriglissar. The theme that overrides the three tracks is monsters and the doom they bring – starting with vengeful spirits and demons, continuing with nocturnal bloodsuckers, and ending with “Laad Haafela Tishlot” (“Forever Darkness Shall Reign”) which gives tribute to the great Leviathan itself.

Atten Ash ne précise pas la couleur du sablier qui fait l'objet de son premier album : à mon avis, il doit être bleu parce que The Hourglass fait remonter le temps. Le trio américain rend un hommage plus qu'évident au death/doom metal mélodique des années 90. Bien que vigoureux ("See You...Never"), les riffs n'en sont pas moins émouvant, flirtant parfois avec une atmosphère funéraire ("Song for the Dead", "First Day") sans jamais tomber dans le pathos facile. What happens when you mix Melechesh with Septic Flesh? Great things! The band wears there influences proud. The band has the tight songwriting down, with great Egyptian themed instrumentals and influence in the Death Metal. The band even just plays more Ancient Egyptian themed music here and there and its so well written, it's just a treat that is too damn fun. 4/5 ClassyMusicSnob
