I was born when the world was young
Under a primeval sun
The greatest among the Refaim
The Giants of ages long gone
Then men came, and set out to hunt us
With torches, arrows and spears
They called us Eimim – the Horrors, the dread
And our growls filled them with fears
Do not seek us in the mountains and valleys
The sons of the fallen angels
Only in legends our name shall live
Shrouded by the mist of ages
My race dies with me, as in battle I fall
A thousand warriors I fought
Lay in my grave at Gilgal Refaim
Pass my spirit to the land of Mot
In the course of time, we lost our lands
The mortals became our bane
We withstood the great world flood,
But fell to the weapons of men
Our name became that of the ghosts
The late souls who wander the earth
We, the great old mountain giants
Who ruled all the world at my birth
Gone we are from the mountains and valleys
The sons of the fallen angels

Over the mountain and down in the fountain

Through ancient withered tree trunks
Which guard the sunken shrine
And tell in lofty whispers
A legend lost to time
Of trees in whose dim shadow

For servitude and freedom

Revival of the hallow
